Пасха приближается! Наверняка, вы уже закупились формочками для куличей и украшениями для яиц. И уже готовы испечь кулич! Не спешите, попробуйте сделать это с детьми! А я помогу сделать это на английском. В этой статье, мы рассмотрим простейший рецепт кулича, который можно испечь с ребёнком на английском языке!

В интернете существует огромное число рецептов приготовления кулича. Я воспользовался вот этим рецептом «Ленивого» кулича:

К тому же, там предлагается очень простой рецепт сахарной помадки. Получилось просто, быстро и вкусно!

Ingridients:
fresh yeast – свежие пресованные дрожжи
water – вода
a cup of sugar – стакан сахара
4 eggs – 4 яйца
2 spoons of oil – две столовые ложки растительного масла
4 cups of flour – 4 кружки муки
100g of butter – 100г сливочного масла
apron – фартук :)

Начали мы это дело в фартуке, но потом он ему начал мешать и мы его сняли.

Фразы:

Could you help me to make some Easter cakes? – можешь помочь мне испечь несколько куличей?
Take the bowl from the cupboard – достань миску из шкафа
Сrumble the fresh yeast into the bowl – накроши дрожжи в миску
Open the drawer – открой шкаф

We need three spoonfuls of water – нам нужно три полных столовых ложки воды
Hold the spoon over the bowl – держи ложку над миской
Empty the spoon into the bowl – вылей в миску
That’s one – это одна (=вылита)

Start mixing – начни смешивать
The mixture is starting to rise – смесь (опара) начинает подыматься
You can see some bubbles in it as it rises – Ты можешь видеть пузырьки по мере того, как оно поднимается
Add a cup of milk – добавь кружку молока

That bowl is just the right size! – Та миска нужного нам размера
Bring/Get four eggs from the fridge – достань 4 яйца из холодильника
You have to crack them – ты должен разбить яйца

Put your fingers in the crack and pull the two parts of the shell apart like this – поставь пальцы на трещину и разорви яйцо на две части, вот так
How much butter do we need? – Сколько масла нам нужно?
Do you know how to melt the butter? – ты знаешь как растопить масло?
Put the bowl on the stove and turn the stove – поставь миску на плиту и включи её
Let’s pour the melted butter into the medium sized bowl – давай выльем растопленное масло в среднюю миску
How much flour do we need? – Сколько муки нам нужно?

Let’s add four cups of flour now, one at a time. – Давай добавим 4 кружки муки, по очереди
What do we call this mixture? We call it dough. – Как называется полученная смесь? Мы называем её тесто
Our Easter dough is ready – наше пасхальное тесто готово

Take a piece of dough and put it into the cake case (or baking tin) – возьми кусок теста и положь его в формочку (или жестяную банку для выпечки)
Take a piece of dough that is half the size of the cake case (baking tin). Because the dough will rise! – возьми кусок теста размеров в половину формочки, так как тесто будет подыматься

Let’s make a sugar fondant for our Easter cake – давай сделаем сахарную помадку для нашего кулича
Put eight spoonfuls of sugar into the saucepan – положь 8 полных столовых ложек в кастрюлю
Mind you fingers, as the water is a little hot – береги свои пальцы, так как воды горячая

Wait, until the sugar dissolves – подожди, пока сахар не растворится
Turn up the heat – увеличь нагрев плиты
Let it simmer a little – пусть немного покипит
Cool the saucepan in this cold water – охлади кастрюлю в холодной воде

Add 10 drops of citric acid – добавь 10 капель лимонной кислоты
We have to stir it until it becomes white – мы должно мешать его, пока он не станет белым
Turn the oven on and heat it to 170 degrees – включи духовку на 170 градусов

Can you smell the delicious Easter cakes baking in the oven? – чувствуешь восхитительный запах куличей, пекущихся в духовке?
Let’s take them out of the oven now – давай достанем их из духовки

The only thing we have to do now is to spread our sugar fondant over the tops of the Easter cakes – Единственное, что нам осталось сделать – намазать сахарную помадку на куличи
Take a spoon and start pouring a little fondant over this one – Возьми ложку и начинай поливать понемножку помадку на этот кулич

Could you help me to make some Easter cakes? Great!

First, let’s take the bowl from the cupboard. Take the biggest one. Then, take some fresh yeast and start crumbling it into the bowl.

Then, open the drawer, and take out a spoon. We need three spoonfuls of water. You can use the water from that bottle. Hold the spoon over the bowl with one hand and hold the kettle with the other one.

Right, now pour the water carefully into the spoon and then empty the spoon into the bowl. OK! That’s one, now add two more spoonfuls of water. That’s it! Add a pinch of sugar for a better mixture. Now, start mixing it all.

Let’s wait 10 minutes and see what happens. See, the mixture is starting to rise. You can see some bubbles in it as it rises. Let’s continue. Now we need some milk. How much milk does it (the recipe) say? A cup. Ok, then!

Add a cup of milk and mix it again. Now, take another bowl from the cupboard. Can you find a medium sized bowl? That bowl is just the right size! Bring/Get four eggs from the fridge. Here, put them on the table. Now, you have to crack them one by one into the bowl.

Put your fingers in the crack and pull the two parts of the shell apart like this over the bowl. You can leave the shell here on the table. We can throw all the shells out afterwards, that is put them in the bin, when we finish. Try again, with the other eggs.

We also need some butter. Let’s get the butter from the fridge. How much butter do we need? 100 grams. Right! Let’s weigh it first. Do you know how to melt the butter? First, you get a small bowl. Then you cut the butter into small little pieces and put them into the bowl. Yes, like that.

Режем масло

Now, put/place the bowl on the stove and turn the stove on. See, it’s slowly melting. And now, the butter has all melted and it has become a liquid!

Take an oven cloth to catch the bowl with, because the bowl is very hot. You need to be careful so as not to burn yourself. (Mind your fingers). Now, let’s pour the melted butter into the medium sized bowl with the eggs, etc.

Now, we add one cup of sugar and two spoonfuls of oil to it (the medium bowl). The last thing that you need to add is… the flour! Do you know where the flour is? In that cupboard, right! How much flour do we need? Four cups.

Let’s add four cups of flour now, one at a time. One, two, three, four!

It is time to mix and knead the mixture. What do we call this mixture? We call it dough. So our Easter dough is ready! Horray!

Now, take the spoon and start putting the dough into the cake cases. Then, we will put the cake cases on a baking tray.

(If you don’t have cake cases you can use tin!) Here is a baking tin, but the cake or dough will stick to it. So we need special paper called greaseproof paper to cover the bottom and sides. Can you help me to cut paper to the size of the tin?

For the bottom we need a circle. Place the baking tin on the paper. Now draw a circle around the baking tin. Now, cut out the circle and place it in the baking tin. For the sides of the baking tin, we need to fold the piece of paper in long strip and put around the inside of the baking tin.

We are almost ready. Now, take a piece of dough and put it into the baking tin. Take a piece of dough that is half the size of the cake case (baking tin). Because the dough will rise! Well done! Now, leave the dough to rise. And we will make a sugar fondant for our Easter cake.

Take a saucepan from the cupboard. Put eight spoonfuls of sugar into it. That’s it. Enough!We need to add 6 spoonfuls of water. So, let’s take the kettle and slowly pour some water into the spoon (that you are holding above the saucepan). Mind your fingers, as the water is a little hot.

Готовим сахарную помадку

Place the saucepan on the stove and turn the stove on. Wait, until the sugar disolves. Has it dissolved? Let’s see! Yes, that’s fine. Now, turn up the heat. See, the mixture is beginning to boil. That’s what we need! Let it simmer a little. Just put the lid on the saucepan now. We have to wait about 10 minutes for this.

Ok, our syrup is ready. Turn off the stove and cool the saucepan in this cold water. Add 10 drops of citric acid. Let’s count them together. Enough! And now, help me to stir it. We have to stir it until it becomes white. Good. Our sugar fondant is ready.

Let’s turn the oven on and heat it to 170 degrees.

Now, let’s put our cup cake cases of dough into the oven. Then we’ll wait until they are ready. Can you smell the delicious cakes baking in the oven? I can, that’s great! I think our Easter cakes are ready. Let’s take them out of the oven now.
